At the start of October, the LVI Geography students embarked on a field trip to the River Tillingbourne drainage basin, where they conducted a variety of measurements, including infiltration rates, to enhance their fieldwork skills. The hands-on experience aimed to equip students with practical techniques essential for their Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) later in the academic year.

The trip was both enjoyable and productive, allowing students to gather a diverse range of data for analysis. Back in the classroom, they further analysed and presented their findings, reinforcing their understanding of the hydrological cycle through this practical exploration.
